COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is developed utilizing the U.S. Department of State Diplomatic Security Service as a template along with input from the experiences and lessons learned by the PSD Specialist�s that are currently working active protection details domestically and abroad in Iraq, Afghanistan, Philippines, etc. This course will also cover protective detail operations for the entertainment industry to include major recording artists and award shows such as MTV, Grammy Awards, Academy Awards, etc�This 5-Day course will create realistic conditions that are designed to prepare and challenge students to constantly maintain a tactical mindset while performing a variety of protective service scenarios. This will develop the skill sets needed in order to mitigate a multitude of threats.

Course Information:

Instruction will cover techniques, principals and application of Underwater Criminal Investigation methods, including planning techniques, organization procedures, problems and hazards of Underwater Crime Investigation. This course has been approved by the SCCJA for In-Service Credit.

The minimum number of hours for completion is 30. The minimum open water training for completion is six dives including a night dive operation.

All required skill performance objectives must be completed in an environment typical of diving conditions. Check-out fees are the responsibility of each diver.

GRADE CROSSING COLLISION MANAGEMENT

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This is a two-day intensive educational course, teaching the skills helpful in and particular to the investigation of a motor vehicle-train crash. This is a free course and all necessary training materials will be provided.

Course Description: This is a basic 2 day class dedicated to assisting law enforcement personnel in giving testimony in a courtroom or at a deposition. All law enforcement personnel, such as Certified Officers, PSA’s, CSA’s or Code Enforcement, will benefit from this class.

Course Goals: This class will provide a comprehensive training program that is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and techniques for effective communication in a courtroom. This will benefit personnel that have never gone to court, or rarely go. There will be 8 hours of classroom and 8 hours of Moot Court.
